CoEIA Concludes Summer Coding Bootcamp After Training 30 Students
The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance concluded its summer coding bootcamp, training 30 students in programming and web and app development over seven weeks.
The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) at King Saud University successfully concluded its summer coding bootcamp, which started on 17 June 2019 after registration reached full capacity, training 30 male and female students in programming and web and application development.
The bootcamp ran for seven weeks with a total of 105 training hours. It opened with the fundamentals of Python programming, and trainees then learned the basics of a range of technical skills, including:
- Python, Django and Django REST APIs
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Git and GitHub
- Flutter for mobile app development
- Web servers and Agile principles
