Dr. Kashif Saleem Promoted to Professor at King Saud University
Kashif Saleem of CoEIA has been promoted to full Professor at King Saud University, following a research career with more than 180 peer-reviewed publications.
The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) congratulated Prof. Kashif S. Saleem on his promotion to Professor at King Saud University, following a successful evaluation by internal and external referees.
Prof. Saleem has been at King Saud University since 2012, progressing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and now to full Professor. He has more than 180 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals and conferences, and his research spans AI-enabled cybersecurity, federated and explainable learning, IoT and IoMT security, smart grids, blockchain security and cyber-physical systems.
He has led multiple nationally and internationally funded research projects, supervised more than 40 graduate and undergraduate researchers, and contributed to the design of cybersecurity degree programs and advanced laboratories at King Saud University. He also serves as an Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member of several prestigious journals.
His contributions align with Saudi Vision 2030, supporting secure digital transformation and critical infrastructure protection.
