KACST Supports CoEIA Research Project on Palm Biometrics
CoEIA received support from King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology for a research project on identifying people through palm prints and palm veins, protected with encryption.
The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) at King Saud University received support from King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) for one of its research projects on biometrics for personal identification and on protecting this data with encryption methods.
The project identifies individuals using data taken from the palm of the hand, namely palm prints and palm veins.
