Cyber Arabia 2017 Cybersecurity Competition Results for University Students

The third edition of the Cyber Arabia cybersecurity competition for students of Saudi universities took place on October 11 and 12, 2017, as part of the C4I 2017 conference and sponsored by Northrop Grumman. The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) followed the competition, which ran in both the men's and women's sections.

Each day opened with a preparatory workshop for participants before the competition began, and at the end of the first day the winners received certificates and commemorative shields from the organizers.

Day One Results

• First place, male students: Cyber Security Club (Thamer Alshammari, Mohammed Almogren, Mohammed Alsuhaimi)
• Second place, male students: Falcon (Ahmed Almulaifi, Ahmed Alomari, Majed Murshed)
• Third place, male students: Cyber IT-10 (Maan Almajed, Faisal Aldahash, Abdulaziz Almutairi)
• Second place, female students: Noura Alshuwaier, Ruba Althunayan, Ghaida Alkanhal
• Third place, female students: Miad Alsulami, Maha Alfadhli, Fahda Alhudayan

Day Two Results

• First place, male students: Cyber Soul (Moayad Almousa, Waleed Alhajri)
• Second place, male students: Eagle Earth (Abdullah Aldossari, Badruddin Alwattar, Abdulelah Alotaibi)
• Third place, male students: M5 (Raed Buaiti, Ayman Alomari)
• Second place, female students: Lama Almansour, Lamia Alshahrani, Tahani Alghanem
• Third place, female students: Wafa Alrusais, Noura Almansour, Fatimah Alsawadi

On October 18, 2017, the competition winners were honored at the Second World Conference on Command and Control Solutions, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
