CoEIA Officially Opens Its Women's Section at King Saud University
CoEIA officially opened its women's section on Thursday, December 15, 2016, with a speech by Dr. Mansour Al-Zuair commending the efforts behind it.
The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) at King Saud University held the official opening of its women's section on Thursday, December 15, 2016, after inviting guests from inside and outside the University.
The ceremony began with a speech by Dr. Mansour Al-Zuair, who commended the efforts made to establish and prepare the section.
The organizers set up a registration desk for guests from outside the University, with printed name badges arranged by organization. Each attendee received a folder with information about the Center and materials for taking notes, along with cybersecurity awareness leaflets. The auditorium hosting the ceremony featured directional signage and announcements of the Center's upcoming training programs.
The opening of the Center's women's section was also covered by the Sabq online newspaper.
