CoEIA Mentors Participants at the Riyadh Blockchain Hackathon
CoEIA, represented by Dr. Shada Alsalamah, mentored participants at the Riyadh Blockchain Hackathon, held with KACST's Badir Program and IBM.
The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) at King Saud University was invited to play an active role in mentoring participants at the Blockchain Hackathon in Riyadh, held with the Badir Program for Technology Incubators at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and IBM.
Dr. Shada Alsalamah represented the Center as a mentor to the competing teams, who spent the event planning and building their blockchain projects.
On the final day, participants presented their ideas to the judges after submitting their work, and the judging panel worked to select the most creative entries. The winners were:
- First place: No Chain No Gain
- Second place: Mail on Chain
- Third place: Charity Chain
