About the Lecture
Video or audio recordings help a criminal investigator analyze a scene and collect evidence, so a robust method is required to verify the originality of a recording. This lecture focuses on digital audio forensics and how to extract the unique digital traces of any microphone.
Feature extraction was performed on recordings collected from several microphone models, with at least two identical microphones of each model. Experimental results and analysis show that recordings from identical microphones carry different digital traces.
