A delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Defence & Aviation (MoDA) visited the Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) on Tuesday Jan. 12, 2010. Received by CoEIA Director Dr. Khaled Alghathbar, the delegation was headed by Eng. Mohammed Abdul Aziz Alghufaid; Chief of MoDA Computer Dept.  Eng. Alghufaid also is the Director of MoDA Internet Service Center and Supervisor of Computer Emergency Response Team-SA.

The delegation had a briefing tour about CoEIA work and its achievements that have been appreciated by Eng. Alghufaid.
Later,  Eng. Alghufaid talked about MoDA Computer Dept. expressing its concerns about information security.  He also discussed cooperation between MoDA and CoEIA.
The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (COEIA) - King Saud University (KSU) is sponsored by the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education with a vision To be an internationally recognized center in the field of information assurance. Therefore, this visit is a way to achieve CoEIA target of cooperating with other entities inside and outside Sauid Arabia to develop information security and promote academic research in that field.
