The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) hold a gathering for the students at the College of Computer Science & Information at King Saud University. The gathering was hold on Tuesday Dec. 22, 2009 with the aim to introduce the center and the services it renders e.g. supporting graduation and post-graduation projects as well as researches. The gathering provides the students also with information about how to make benefit of the center's services.

The students asked information security questions that were answered by CoEIA Director Dr. Khaled Alghathbar. The discussions included questions about how to make use of CoEIA membership as well as the academic and financial support it presents to the graduate and post-graduate students.
Dr. Alghathbar presented a demonstration about the center's achievements, activities, training courses, and gatherings before ending the event by thanking the students and rendering academic and technical advices about information security.
