The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) held a seminar under the title Certified Ethical Hacking to identify the specialized certificates of information security. Delivered by EC-Council, seminar was webcasted live on Tuesday October 13. 2009.

About 50 persons – scholars, students, etc. – attended the seminar in Al Kindi Hall at CoEIA premises as a way to achieve the target of gathering experts and researchers to transfer the knowledge. Researches in that field will be directed for solving information security national problems.
The seminar discussed topics like “Locating & Demonstrating Weakness in Web Applications”, “Testing & Tuning Information Security Defensive Infrastructure” besides five other topics in the same field.
Later on November 15, a training session will be held in the same place under the title “Secure Code using ASP.Net” to enrich information security Arabic content; one of CoEIA targets, according to King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Initiative to enrich the Arabic content on the web.
