On August 20. 2009, Information Technology Club in Griffith University received CoEIA founder and director, Dr. Khaled Alghathbar, as a guest of the monthly online interview held in Gold Coast – Australia. Dr. Alghathbar gave an overview about the importance of information security and the Center of Information Assurance (CoEIA);

its mission and establishment. Moreover, Dr. Alghathbar explained the services introduced by CoEIA to researchers as well as the whole society. He also demonstrated the technology future vision in Saudi Arabia, the ways of cooperation between CoEIA and scholars delegated abroad, and the job opportunities provided for them in both governmental and private sectors. Dr. Alghathbar finally delineated the academic consultancy services that CoEIA renders for the new IT scholars.
