A Course for the Saudi Universities Teaching Staff |

Inside its premises at King Saud University (KSU), the Centre of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) have recently delivered a course specialized in ASP.Net secure coding to some teaching staff members from various universities in the Kingdom.
Being the first to the teaching staff, the course is considered a core prerequisite for each programmer and for each organization that care about its programs since it focuses on getting the trainee to know most common risks in software and the ways to avoid these risks besides the methods of data encryption, electronic signature, and other methods of advanced secure programming that enables programmers to design and implement invulnerable programs.
The course was appreciated by the teaching staff members who confirmed that CoEIA provided them through the course with valuable information in the field of information security.
The Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) is mainly funded by the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education with aims to encourage and support researchers to solve information security problems in both the government and private sectors. It also aims to attract talented researchers and professionals for developing innovative solutions and new technologies besides transferring of knowledge and experience. Moreover, it seeks embedding the concept of information security in the Kingdom's research and education. In addition, CoEIA aims to provide information security advisory services and to promote research cooperation among the various departments at King Saud University in this field.
